The fifth to tenth placed teams will also receive prize money, with the tenth-placed team receiving $11 million.

The total estimated revenue for Qatar from hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup is between $6 billion and $8 billion, with most of the money coming from television and broadcasting rights, sponsorship, and ticket sales. Qatar is expected to make a profit from the tournament, with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy of the World Cup estimating a return of $4 billion.
